The Warren University Consulting Difference

Personalized, Expert Guidance

With over 14 years of university counselling experience, including 8 years at the prestigious Jakarta Intercultual School, I am perfectly equipped to guide students through the application process to universities and colleges worldwide

Friendly & Understanding Resource

As a father of three daughters who have all gone through the university admissions process, I understand the stress that can come with making this decision both as a counsellor and a parent

Dedicated Point of Contact

Unlike a high school counsellor with a typical caseload of 40 or more students per grade level, I purposefully work with a small number of students each year to fully dedicate my time to them and their application journey

Strong University Network

I have built a network of over 1800 admissions professionals at universities worldwide. I have also visited many university campuses to tour their facilities and continue to now.

Meet Your Counsellor

As a seasoned educator with over 30 years of experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the field of university and college counselling. My extensive background as a college/university counsellor, an international school educator, and a social-emotional counsellor, has given me a comprehensive understanding of the educational landscape and the ability to work holistically with students.

I look forward to meeting with you and your high school student to learn more about their goals for higher education, and how we can achieve those goals together!

Our Services

Grade 9

For students in 9th grade, I work to get to know each student and their family well, establish application priorities and goals, and to look for ways the student can distinguish themself in their school and community in preparation for competitive applications. We do interest surveys and begin to research careers, university types, and, most importantly, focus on having a strong first year of high school.

Grade 10

In Grade 10, we begin to build a portfolio, including a resume, and develop a more focused list of universities. We look more closely at preferred university destinations, as well as the distinct differences among schools in countries of interest. We ensure that the student is taking the appropriate high school courses for their chosen pathway, begin to discuss course options for Grades 11 and 12 (IB, AP, A Levels, etc.), and discuss summer activity options.

Grade 11

Grade 11 is a busy year to get ready for applications. We fine tune the list of universities to apply to, strategize as to how to apply (ED, EA, REA, etc.), help the student to gather the necessary documents, begin application essay preparation and review, and prepare as much as possible to reduce stress in their final year of high school.

Grade 12

In Grade 12, I will continue to provide expert advice and assistance as the student completes the actual applications in advance of the deadlines. Once the applications are complete, we continue to work with the student to answer questions and help them make the best choice possible for their university education.
